Unearthing Bonds

I love my dear siblings
My partners in hunger
We feed off of hugs
And float around like nothing
Touching the surroundings
With a light that bleeps red
Every time zero becomes one
And void becomes form
Because I can’t be grasped
But I find myself where others find me

How I want to hug my 3 brothers now! As we are all away from each other now, I miss them so.

Thanks for this lovely post..

Hi Gilson! Such beautiful sensitivity and tender images. I just spent some time with my siblings and your poem completely resonates with me. I got tears in my eyes when I read the lines "every time zero becomes one/ and void becomes form" -- and "But I find myself where others find me". I LOVE this!! My brother and sister mean the world to me -- together we hold the memories, history, sorrow, joy, hopes and dreams of our ancestors. I don't know what I would do without them. Thank you for such a beautiful poem!

Hi miriam! Thanks for stopping by!

Hi brian! Hugs are magical things to live on, thanks!

Hello paisley! I’m so happy the poem made you feel that way; a healthy relationship always pays off. Thank you for your comment!

Hi gautami! Thank you very much! I hope you can see your brothers soon and give them those hugs personally.

Hi tumblewords! Thanks for your visit! Writing this poem was a very enjoyable experience.

Hi etain_lavena! I am grateful for your words; hugs have a very special meaning especially when it’s with someone we love. Thank you!

Hi clare! It’s great to know you had a nice time with your siblings! I’ve learned to cultivate a great admiration for my family as well and recognize the role they play in my life. It’s very gratifying to read your comment and I wish to you and your family the best!

This poem resonates in my life as well. I really miss my brothers and sisters who are a thousand miles away from me across the Pacific. Thank you for sharing this!

Hi odessa! Thanks a lot. I can imagine how it must be hard for you. Some times I wonder about modern technology, so many people criticize it, but I imagine that it can very useful in a situation like yours.

Hi fledgling poet! It’s great to know that, I cherish my sister too. Thanks for sharing!
