I had started this drawing awhile back and then had to put it aside due to a muscle strain on my right hand while practicing the piano. Some weeks ago my hand started to recover and it is with great relief that I am managing my way back into ordinary life. I’m glad I finished it since I really wanted to post it here. There’s such a warm vibe to her pics that being able to capture that positivity can be great fun.

a "repintura" de uma fotografia (de um momento) ou do próprio momento em si, como esta tua obra de arte (autentica e verdadeira (da vontade)), deixa bem óbvia a resignificação do símbolo/objeto/pessoa em questão.
o que é pintado aí é ainda mais do que o que foi objeto da pintura.
a arte que está em você, amigo, é aquela que paira pelas almas dos artistas verdadeiros, "verdadeiros" são os que realmente atingiram a arte verdadeira, e esses conseguem se utilizar bem dos instrumentos da pintura (esse quadro), dos instrumentos da arte (você sensíbilíssimo) e, por fim, faz dessa obra e de você verdadeiros fenômenos do que costumamos chamar "arte".

this is VERY well done! i've always had the hardest time drawing hair. the faces are well developed, but the hair is this afterthought for me... you have the fine points of the hair captured with great detail!
